I'm
Marte Siebenhar, and I've spent nearly two decades helping nonprofit leaders strengthen organizations, grow budgets, raise funds, and make the strategic decisions that support long-term sustainability.
I've supported hundreds of nonprofit leaders navigate fundraising, governance, strategy, and organizational growth in rapidly changing times.
My perspective comes from having occupied many diverse seats: nonprofit executive at the Bakehouse Art Complex and New World Symphony, strategist and management consultant with Michael Kaiser's DeVos Institute of Arts Management and The Business Healer, executive coach for multiple foundations and nonprofits, fundraiser, board chair of Pioneer Winter Collective, and national nonprofit advisor.
That means when you bring a question into the Lab, I’m not looking at it through one narrow lens. I’m thinking about it and its implications in a 360-degree way: revenue, strategy, board, team, systems, leadership, and what your organization can realistically execute.
After these experiences working with so many organizations, I’ve also seen how valuable it is for leaders to have a trusted place to think through complex decisions and test ideas with someone who has encountered many versions of the same challenges before.
I've directly raised nearly $30 million in nonprofit grant funding, helped fundraising strategy clients grow their operating budgets by an average of 45% over three years, and spent my career helping leaders translate strategy into action.
Inside the Lab, I offer and apply all of my experience to the work in front of us----not as theory, but as tailored, practical support, in real time.
